Gad Beck was known for his activism in the Holocaust as an anti-Nazi Zionist resistance fighter. He started on his path to resistance as a teenager, when he disguesed himself in a Hitler Youth uniform to try to save his boyfriend from the Nazis.
Beck is featured in Telling Pictures' documentary PARAGRAPH 175, about gay survivors of Nazi persecution. He passed away in Germany on June 24, 2012 at the age of 88.
